Chapter Profile

The ICMA Student Chapter at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) was founded in the Spring 2022 semester. The chapter is housed in the Master of Public Administration Program, which has specialties in Local Government Management, Community/Economic Development, and Criminal Justice. The purpose of the chapter is to prepare students for a career in local government management. The chapter connects students with practitioners across the Cincinnati region and throughout the state of Kentucky, hosts events, hosts guest speakers on campus, and organizes tours of local government facilities in the region.
