General Description
Through engaged teaching, research, and service, the MPA program at James Madison University equips current and future public service professionals with the capacity to address complex local and global problems. Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley just two hours south of Washington, DC, the JMU MPA program offers full and part-time enrollment opportunities with classes taught during once-a-week, evening time periods. The small faculty to student ratio (1:5) enables a mentoring experience for all students. The Program is NASPAA accredited.
