Currently serves as the Town Manager for a major ski resort community overseeing finance, capital projects, economic development, planning, highways, solid waste and wastewater collection, police & fire departments, municipal golf course, and recreation. Seth came to Killington from NYC in 2010 when he was selected to lead the Town's Economic Development and Tourism efforts. In that role, he brought a series of events to town to help reignite summer and fall tourism, led a multi-town effort to establish U.S. Routes 4 and 100 as Vermont Byways and secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants and sponsorship from state and private sponsors. His efforts earned the Town the 2011 Governor’s Award for Marketing Excellence. In New York City, Seth served as Director of Marketing and Special Projects for Civic Entertainment Group LLC (CEG) where he managed public engagement campaigns for national brands like CNN, A&E Television Networks and I Love NY. His campaigns earned the 2009 Gold Reggie & PR News Corporate Social Responsibility Awards. Prior to New York, Seth worked for over ten years in management positions in municipal and state government in NYC, the State of Illinois, and Central America: He served as the Director of Special Projects for the Governor of Illinois managing statewide health care, economic development and education initiatives, and worked as the adviser to a Guatemalan mayor training and opening a Municipal Planning Office, which managed healthcare, water, small business and tourism development projects. In NYC, he directed the Marketing and Special Events for the Parks Department raising over $3MM from corporate sponsors to support park programs and produced major concerts and events in Central Park including Sting Live, Sheryl Crow and Friends and the Dalai Lama’s Public Address.
