Began his career working for the State of Wyoming for 13 years in the State Budget Office, the the Abandoned Mine Program and the State's Subsidence Insurance Program, before moving on to Missouri and a successful career in various environmental agencies.
Married to Rochelle (Jarboe) Sadler who is an elementary school teacher and has a Master's Degree from Truman State University in MO. They have three children: Nick, J.B. and Jessica and 5 grandchildren.
