Jeff started his new position as city administrator for Sutton, Nebraska on February 2, 2015. He brings twelve (12) years of experience from the development arena with him from working with community and economic development projects in Phillips County, Kansas. Jeff graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1990 with a BA in Computer Information Systems & Business Administration. Sales and marketing courses added to his resume include the following: Dale Carnegie, Tom Hopkins, Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins, and Grant proposal and Foundation development courses. Also included are development courses via Wichita State University – Center of Entrepreneurship for business planning and business expansion. He is a graduate of the prestigious Economic Development Institute with the Regent’s Community Development CE Program out of Oklahoma University. Jeff mentions the importance of “Plugging in your city for regional efforts, acting locally in smart growth policies, thinking entrepreneurially and being a servant community leader is ‘key’ toward any rural area’s success/growth.
