William R.(Bill) Wasson, recently retired as the County of McLean, Illinois Administrator. He was the Chief Administrative Officer, providing oversight to McLean County’s 22 departments, 834 FTE employees and a $97,000,000+ annual FY budget. McLean County has a population of 171,000 and is the largest geographic county in the State of Illinois. Mr. Wasson served as McLean County Administrator from May 2011 through June 2019 and previously performed in the positions of Assistant County Administrator, Director of Administrative Services and Director of the Department of Parks & Recreation for McLean County. Mr. Wasson hold a BA in Organizational Behavior & Management and a MPA from the University of Illinois.
