General Description
Our Master of Public Administration (MPA) program prepares students for leadership and management positions in public service, including all levels of government, non-profit organizations, and public service-oriented organizations. Our courses employ a unique combination of theoretically and practically grounded applications that will assists students throughout their careers. Further, our MPA program is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) and it is nationally ranked by U.S. News and World Report. Our MPA program is flexible and give students many options, including full- or part-time status, in-person, online and hybrid delivery. Students attending full-time can complete the program in 5 semesters. The MPA degree program allows for students to customize their education by providing elective courses that will meet their professional and personal interests. We assist students to determine the best plan of study that will meet their unique needs. Our experienced faculty are internationally recognized scholars and experts as well as experienced professionals from the public and nonprofit sectors. In a recent survey, 91% of the FAU MPA alumni indicated that they were very satisfied (62%) or satisfied (29%) with their FAU MPA experience, and 100% of the current MPA students are satisfied (61%) or very satisfied (39%) with their MPA experience.
