Chapter Description

The Tennessee State University ICMA Student Chapter was established in 2017. The student chapter seeks to introduce and place students in exciting positions in local government, as well as establish linkages between how local government management is discussed in the classroom and how it is practiced in the real-world. Tennessee State University’s chapter focuses on providing interested students with networking events, educational workshops, internship opportunities, and ultimately, offers a window into a career in local government management.
