Cassandra has served as the Assistant City Manager for Elgin, Illinois, Village Administrator for Salem Lakes, Wisconsin, Assistant County Administrator for Lake County Illinois and as City Administrator for Brainerd Minnesota. Additionally, Cassandra was the sole Scientific Policy Advisor for the North Dakota Governor and advised on policies and programs for 19 state agencies and was the Environmental Programs Manager for the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Lastly, Cassandra served as the Director of the Green Economy and Sustainable Water for College of Lake County (Illinois), and Deputy Director of the Division of Water Resources for McHenry County Illinois. She has received recognition at both a state and national level for her work in Water Resources and Transportation. Cassandra leads with a Can-Do and Optimistic outlook. She leverages her experience in Federal, State, County and City management and is known for consensus building and conflict management strategies. Cassandra graduated with honors and holds an MPA from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks and a BSc in Environmental Science from Western Washington University.
